01

Diagnostic Assessments

Thorough psychiatric evaluations to clarify diagnosis and guide treatment planning. Dr. Carp takes time to understand the full picture — prior history, current context, and long-term patterns — before offering any conclusions or recommendations.

For children, adolescents, and adults. Particularly useful for complex or unclear presentations.

02

Second Opinion Consults

An independent, thorough review for patients with prior diagnoses that feel uncertain, or treatment histories that haven’t produced results. Dr. Carp offers a fresh perspective without bias toward previous recommendations.

Especially useful for patients who have seen multiple providers without clarity or lasting improvement.

03

Medication Prescribing

Conservative, thoughtful medication management. Dr. Carp carefully evaluates each patient’s history, current symptoms, and long-term goals before recommending any medication. The aim is always the minimum effective approach — not reflexive prescribing.

Includes ongoing management, side effect monitoring, and medication adjustments over time.

04

Medication Deprescribing

When appropriate, treatment includes thoughtfully simplifying or reducing existing medication regimens — not just adding more. Dr. Carp believes less medication is often better when the same clinical goals can be achieved.

For patients on complex regimens or those seeking a more conservative medication approach.

05

Combined Treatment

Therapy and medication considered together as complementary tools — not separate tracks. For out-of-pocket patients, therapy alone (without medication) is also available. Treatment is always adapted to what each individual needs most.

Therapy-only option available for patients paying out of pocket (not through insurance).

Family & Parent Consultations

When clinically appropriate, relational systems are addressed directly. Dr. Carp collaborates with families, couples, and parents — including school consultations for younger patients.

Includes parent-child sessions, family therapy, and school-related consultations.
