Proactive payment of co-pay is expected each session. Proactive payment of deductible and co-insurance is expected as soon as your insurance communicates dues to you.

For out-of-network treatment:
Proactive payment of private professional fee is expected each session. A superbill can be provided after each session to seek reimbursement from your insurance.

How does the first appointment work?

The first session is a comprehensive evaluation. Dr. Carp will learn as much as possible about you, your history, and your treatment goals. From there, she will provide a range of options with detailed information about the risks and benefits of each.

What platform is used for video sessions?

Sessions are conducted via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Details are provided upon scheduling. No special software is required — sessions can be joined from any modern browser.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. Blue Cross, United Healthcare, Harvard Pilgrim, and Mass Gen Brigham are accepted. For out-of-network patients, a superbill can be provided after each session to seek reimbursement from your insurance.
